AARC, in partnership with Boehringer-Ingelheim, would like to introduce new resources that will aid with the respiratory therapist management of COPD.

Huddle Card

The Huddle Card Checklist is intended to be used during your daily huddle. It provides considerations to note during the patients’ hospital journey from admission through discharge. Some of these considerations include: comorbidities, pack years, and Peak Inspiratory Flow Rate. This tool can be utilized digitally or can be printed.

COPD Guidelines

As a Respiratory Therapists, you are a key member of your patients’ COPD team. This brochure summarizes GOLD and ATS guidelines to aid in the management of patients with COPD. Real-world examples are used to highlight key considerations as to why following these evidence-based guidelines is highly recommended.
