Transport Safety: Considerations for Patients and the RT

About This Course

Respiratory therapists are vital for ensuring patients and clinicians move from one location to another safely, whether the transport is a trip to radiology or movement to another facility. This panel discussion will focus on major areas of patient and clinician safety for both intra- and inter-facility transport, including the impact of transport on medical interventions and the patient’s hemodynamic status as well as maintaining team and crew safety during transport.

Successful completion of this course requires a score of 70% on the post-test.
