The presentation will provide an overview related to unplanned extubations, including an explanation of what are considered unplanned extubations, how to assess your organization’s rate and compare to national averages, best practices to reduce unplanned extubations, and recent research related to the use of physical restraints with intubated patients.

Successful completion of this course requires a score of 70% on the post-test.
