AARC has an advisor and staff person who represent the interests of RTs and the respiratory profession when it comes to Current Procedural Terminology® (CPT) coding developed by the Medical Association’s CPT Editorial Panel. As a service to our Members, AARC has developed a list of CPT respiratory codes with definitions and cases in which codes not be billed with other services. If you have any questions about the codes, you should check with the billing specialists in your hospital.
