If you are an AARC member and in the U.S., then you were automatically made a member of your state society. State Societies give you local support and increased volunteer and leadership opportunities.
AARC’s State Societies includes 50 societies across the U.S., providing local resources, networking, and leadership opportunities to the RTs in their regions. Representatives from each affiliate also make up the House of Delegates, an AARC governing body participating in the establishment of the goals and objectives for the association. The mission of the House of Delegates is to guide and influence the activities of the association by providing communication from and among State Societies to the Executive Office and Board of Directors to determine and achieve the strategic goals and objectives of the Association.
