Navigating the Healthcare Reimbursement System

Are you befuddled and intimidated by the healthcare reimbursement system? Are you hindered from providing services your patients need because your billing department tells they can’t be reimbursed? This course will introduce and discuss principal components of the United States healthcare reimbursement system. An overview of the three different payer types: Medicare, Medicaid and private payers is followed by detailed information about coding, coverage and payment in various sites of care.  The billing process will also be detailed along with an explanation of how the respiratory therapist can have a direct impact of the reimbursement process.

After completing all the modules and passing the online final examination you will be able to print out a signed course certificate awarding you two CRCEs.
