Helps Clarify CMS Guideline Affecting Protocols

in the nation’s hospitals has just been revised to clarify the value
of these care management tools, and the AARC had a big hand in fostering
the resolution.
Executive Office Staff Celebrates RC Week
Respiratory therapists weren’t the only ones who celebrated National Respiratory Care Week last week. Staff members at the AARC Executive Office got into the act as well, taking spirometry tests, learning more about CPR, and testing their RT know-how in trivia contests.
So, that’s what AARC staff did. Now take a few minutes and tell us what you did to celebrate the week as well.
Big Week for Voting—And We Don’t Just Mean for U.S. President
Next week will be a big week for the nation, as we all go to the polls to cast our ballots for the next president.
But the AARC has two voting opportunities of its own going on as well. First and foremost, take a few moments to review the slate of candidates for 2009 officer, director, and section chair positions, then let your voice be heard. Secondly, check out our finalists in the AARC Times 2008 Photo Contest and tell us which one you think deserves to be on the January 2009 cover.
