AARC Congress Program Online NOW!
The AARC’s 53rd International Respiratory Congress promises to be the biggest and best meeting in Association history, and you can find out all about it right now on the AARC web site. The Association has just posted the Program, and we’re inviting everyone to take a look at the great lineup of presentations, topics, and lecturers on tap for Orlando. While you’re there, go ahead and register too, while savings are still available. Discounted registration ends on October 31.
CRCE Through the Journal Deadline October 1
AARC members have until October 1 to earn six CRCE contact hours for just $15 by using the Association’s online CRCE Through the Journal testing module. Don’t miss out on this great value of membership!
Meet the AARC Candidates
Election season is almost upon us—AARC Elections, that is. Online balloting will open on October 1 and continue through November 1, but you can begin learning all about the candidates right now. Read more about the folks who hope to lead your professional association into 2008 and beyond.
Got an NBRC Survey? Here's Why You Should Complete It!
The NBRC is conducting new job analyses for the CRT and RRT exams, and if you received one of their surveys (mailed to a random sample of RTs at the end of August), you have good reason to fill it out and return it by the deadline noted on the survey: everyone who participates will be automatically entered into a drawing for a free trip to this year’s AARC Congress in Orlando, December 1–4.
RC Week Resources and Ideas
Our 2007 National Respiratory Care Week is just around the corner—October 21–27—but you still have time to plan great events aimed at raising awareness of the profession and the patients we serve. Don’t miss this chance to shine the spotlight on respiratory care and all the ways you work to help people breathe easier.
NLHEP Resources Help You Celebrate RC Week Too
Sure, the AARC has lots of great resources you can use to celebrate your profession this October, but so does our partner organization, the National Lung Health Education Program. Check out their materials and consider how you can put them to work in your RC Week activities too.
