  • Gisela Nehring is noted as project manager for an electronic health records web site at the Cleveland Clinic in this article in Time Magazine. Gisela specifically mentions her background in respiratory therapy and how it’s helping her in her new position.

  • David Henson explains how the donation of a new transport ventilator to his department is going to improve patient care in this article in the Diboli, TX, Free Press.

  • Diane Jereb comments on a camp for ventilator-dependent children in this article in the Akron, OH, Beacon Journal. Diane is co-director of the annual event.

  • Denise Cuneo says her hospital saw few ill effects from record temperatures and high ozone levels this article in the Attleboro, MA, Sun Chronicle. Denise credits the situation to patients who stayed indoors and newer medications that help them maintain better control of their respiratory conditions.

  • U.S. Rep. David Davis receives the support of a retired Army colonel and local physician in this letter to the editor on TriCities.com out of Johnson City, TN. The writer notes Rep. Davis’ background as a respiratory therapist.
