AARC Represented at Udall Event

AARC Director of Legislative Affairs Miriam O’Day was on hand for a recent fundraiser held in support of Colorado Congressman Mark Udall’s bid for the U.S. Senate.

The Congressman specifically requested the AARC send a representative to the Washington, DC event, demonstrating the AARC’s growing influence with our legislators on Capitol Hill.

Rep. Udall is a strong supporter of health care issues important to respiratory therapists and their patients, including affordable health care for all Americans; improving health care for seniors and the uninsured; and investing in our public health system (including planning for pandemic flu and other disaster situations), health technology, and medical research.
