Wondering how respiratory care is practiced in other countries around the world? The AARC’s International Fellowship Program is a great place to find out.

Since 1990, health professionals from more than 50 countries have shared experiences and knowledge, and developed lasting friendships, through this exceptional program. The three-week program takes each participant to two host cities in the U.S. in the fall, and concludes with attendance and acknowledgment at the AARC's International Respiratory Convention & Exhibition, scheduled this year for Nov. 10-13 in New Orleans, LA.

We’re currently looking for city hosts for the 2012 program and would like to invite AARC members from across the nation to apply. So click on the link to learn more about it and then plan to show off your city and your hospitality skills to a colleague from abroad. City hosts are responsible for providing visiting Fellows with a quality educational experience and giving them the opportunity to observe respiratory care in a wide variety of settings.

If you’re a respiratory health professional from abroad, be sure to check out the link as well. In addition to looking for city hosts, we’re also taking applications for our 2012 Fellowships.

The application deadline is June 1.
