AARC Considering the Formation of a Hyperbaric Roundtable

June 25, 2008

The AARC is considering the formation of a Hyperbaric Roundtable, and we are seeking your input on whether you would be interested in joining such a group. The Association has several Roundtables, which are special groups formed among members who have common interests. A Roundtable is smaller than a Specialty Section but is a group of at least 50 AARC members who want to share information and ideas regarding a specialized area. Only AARC members may join a Roundtable, and any member of the Association can propose formation of a Roundtable.

If a Roundtable is formed, the AARC would appoint a Roundtable chair to direct the discussion and report regularly to the AARC Board of Directors. Also, this would be an avenue for educational programming.

The purpose of the Hyperbaric Roundtable would be to provide a place where individuals working in that area of respiratory care practice could exchange ideas, suggestions, problems and solutions through an interactive email list.

If you are interested in this Roundtable, please take a brief survey. Survey deadline is July 13.
