Branson to Represent AARC to AHA BLS Subcommittee

June 13, 2008

The AARC just got a bigger voice at the nation’s leading support organization for cardiovascular care.

The American Heart Association (AHA) has asked the AARC to appoint a 2008-2009 liaison member to it’s Emergency Cardiovascular Care Basic Life Support (BLS) Subcommittee.

The AARC is pleased to appoint long time Association member Richard Branson, MS, RRT, FAARC, associate professor of surgery at the University of Cincinnati, to this prestigious position.

Branson will be attending both fall and spring meetings of the BLS subcommittee, where he’ll provide an update on AARC activities to the group. Following the meetings, he’ll update the AARC on the subcommittee’s goals and objectives.
