Listen and Learn with New
Respiratory Care Journal Podcasts

May 5, 2008

Keeping up with the evidence-based literature in respiratory care is a daunting task for the busy manager or clinician. For readers of Respiratory Care, however, that job just got a little easier.

Beginning with the June issue of the journal, readers can subscribe to monthly podcasts featuring an overview of the issue by Editor Dean Hess, PhD, RRT, FAARC, and abstracts of the papers read by Editorial Assistant Sara Forgy.

“These new podcasts will provide our readers with a quick synopsis of the journal content for the month that they can listen to while they’re having their morning coffee, driving to work, or even out exercising or working around the house,” says Managing Editor Ray Masferrer. “Then when they settle down to read the papers in the issue, they’ll already have a great idea of what is being presented and why.”

Visit the journal web site today and click on “podcast” to download the first edition to your computer or MP3 player and sign up to subscribe to the monthly podcasts as they become available.
