Hotel
Scam Alert It has come to our attention
that Convention Expo Travel is contacting AARC exhibitors and
soliciting hotel reservations for our December 2008 International
Respiratory Congress in Anaheim. Please be aware that this company
is making calls under false pretenses claiming they represent
housing for AARC. They state that the event has run out of rooms
and they are offering to make reservations at another hotel. Please
be aware that this is not true. AARC staff have asked this company
to cease and desist in this activity. Convention Expo Travel is
not affiliated with AARC in any way.
AARC housing
will open in September. We have secured our own room blocks that
are protected for our attendees and exhibitors until that time.
AARC members and exhibitors will be notified by e-mail when housing
opens in September. If you have any questions, contact the AARC
Office at 972-243-2272 or Annette Phillips at aphillips@aarc.org.
